Additional Information About Tony Fiorito
Tony Fiorito's reputation as an unsavory character precedes him, particularly in the Larew v. Larew, et al, lawsuit (www.andrewlarew.com). Allegedly, Fiorito helped his business partner pull the wool over on Larew's ex-wife, and now they are both being sued for Racketeering and Fraud. The only inference that can be drawn is that Tony Fiorito intentionally stood as Larew's "straw man" with greed being Fiorito's sole motivation.
The evidence against Fiorito is overwhelming. For instance, take a look at Fiorito's 2007 Federal tax return, as well as his 2007 Personal Financial Statement. The two statements are diametrically opposed.
- In Larew's divorce case Tony Fiorito stated to the Connecticut Superior Court that The Atrium Building in Syracuse was worth less than $500,000.00. There were three partners that owned the building, John Funiciello, Tony Fiorito, and Andrew Larew. Larew was ordered by the court to pay his wife 1/3 of the profits from The Atrium. Instead of paying the ex-wife, Larew "sold" his 1/3 share in the building to Funiciello and Fiorito in a sweetheart deal for less than $200,000.00. The three partners proved to the courts that the building had net worth of less than $500,000.00 through testimony and multiple appraisals.
- The same scenario holds true for The Harrison Building. Fiorito tells the Connecticut Court that he "purchased" Larew's 1/3 share in The Harrison for $155,000.00. This value was backed up in court with testimony and appraisals. Then, Fiorito submits the attached personal financial statement to multiple banks in order to obtain millions of dollars in financing, with a value for The Harrison of $4 million - more than 20 times the value he stated to the Connecticut Court it was worth. Who was Fiorito intentionally deceiving, Mrs. Larew or the many banks?
- The attached 2007 personal financial statement shows Fiorito valued The Atrium Building at a net value of $10 million, 20 times the value he reported to the Connecticut Court. Fiorito tendered this very same PFS to multiple banks while looking to refinance multiple properties in the Syracuse area. So, which value will Fiorito have you believe is correct? Is the net value of The Atrium Building $500,000.00 or $10 million? Who did Fiorito intentionally deceive, Mrs. Larew or the many banks?
- In the 2007 PFS, Fiorito stated his income from the rental properties was $581,333.00. However, on Fiorito's 2007 tax return he stated that his rental property income was $300,394.00 - an inflated difference of almost 100%. Who did Fiorito intentionally deceive, the banks he was trying to get mortgages from, or the IRS?
- Through the years, Tony Fiorito became owner ("straw man") of at least three of Larew's businesses -- Larew Associates, Larew Doyle and Associates, and Central New York Associates. No income for any of these business entities was reported to Andrew Larew. Millions of dollars in income was fraudulently diverted from Larew, to his partners including Tony Fiorito. This was done for one reason, and one reason only -- to defraud Andrew Larew's ex-wife Rebecca Larew.
- Allegedly, via many emails, we know that Tony Fiorito knew he was intentionally defrauding Larew's ex-wife of millions of dollars. Fiorito freely admits participating in the fraud.
- We can easily infer through Fiorito's many, many emails - that he was (allegedly) intentionally defrauding the banks, and IRS as well.
- Lastly, Fiorito reports on his 2007 taxes a total of $4588.00 in charitable contributions. With almost $1,600,000.00 in total income, that is less than 1/3 of one percent of his income. He should be ashamed.
